Dr. Michael H. Gold completed his undergraduate studies at Tulane University in 1981 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 1985 and was part of the first class to utilize and graduate from the North Chicago Medical School campus. He performed an internship in internal medicine at Emory University in Atlanta before returning to the Chicago area to complete his training in dermatology at Northwestern University Medical Center. At Northwestern, Dr. Gold trained under the leadership of Henry H. Roenigk, M.D., a world renowned expert in cosmetic, surgical dermatology, who prepared Dr. Gold for the exciting work which laid ahead for him in the field of dermatology. Dr. Gold is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Department of Dermatology. He has performs laser hair removal along with a multitude of other laser procedures.
