Dr. Gregory Chernoff received an Advanced Bachelor of Science Degree in Anatomy and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He then completed one year of General Surgery followed by five years of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Western Ontario, in London, Canada. During that time he completed one year of research in Head and Neck Surgery for which he received the Canadian Otolaryngological Research Award for Best Original Clinical Research. To further his training, Dr. Chernoff was awarded a fellowship in Head and Neck/Microvascular/Facial Plastic Surgery at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. To complete his Facial Plastic/Cosmetic Surgery training he was awarded a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He studied under Drs. Larry D. Schoenrock and Sheldon S. Kabaker, M.D. (a leading expert in hair restoration surgery) at the University of California in San Francisco where Dr. Chernoff served as a clinical instructor. In addition to laser hair removal, Dr. Chernoff's specialties include Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, hair restoration and other laser cosmetic procedures including facial resurfacing, blepharoplasty, laser removal of tattoos, birthmarks, moles, pigmented skin spots, spider veins. Dr. Chernoff's laser research has been instrumental in the development and refinement of accepted laser parameters now used by physicians worldwide. He is a consultant and lecturer and teaches laser courses in the United States, Europe and South America.
